COOPER: Tane Kingi Areta sadly passed away on Thursday 3rd October 2024 at home with his family. Aged 80 years.
Dearly loved husband to Genevieve (Gen).
Loved Dad and Father-in-Law of Christina and Stephen, Andrew and Lana, and Leesa Maree.
Very special Papa to Whakaaio, Rutene, Erana, Wade, Tom, Sophie, Moana, Kingi and Mere.
Extra special Great Papa to Tane, Avianna, Tallulah, Huia, Manaia, Te Anahera, and Archer.
As per Dads wishes and quickly arranged, a no fuss, no bother service with great music was held on Saturday 5th October 2024.
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and support of Dad given by Lavender (I'm under duress) Blue, Tararua District Nurses and Arohanui Hospice.
A special mihi ki a Manahi Paewai, for uplifting Dad and our Whānau right to the end of Dads journey and beyond.
